Organizations doing innovative or unconventional work often face a particular challenge: how do you create enough structure to operate professionally without building systems that undermine the values, relationships, and creativity that made the work meaningful in the first place?Eros Thrive helps organizations navigate that balance. Through strategic planning, governance development, program design, facilitation, and organizational capacity building, I work with leaders, boards, teams, and collaborators to clarify where an organization is going, how decisions are made, what programs best advance its mission, and what people and systems are needed to sustain the work.This may mean facilitating difficult conversations, strengthening board and leadership practices, turning an emerging idea into a viable program, clarifying priorities, examining organizational roles and responsibilities, or helping a growing organization determine what needs to change next.My approach combines strategic thinking, organizational experience, facilitation, and an understanding of sexuality, embodiment, experiential education, and unconventional practice environments. I understand that organizations in these fields often need more than generic nonprofit or small-business advice—they need structures that recognize the particular ethical, relational, cultural, and professional realities of their work.The strongest organizations are not necessarily the ones with the most structure. They are the ones with the right structures to support their people, their purpose, and the work they are here to do.
Education & Training

Sexuality professionals, somatic practitioners, educators, facilitators, coaches, and retreat leaders often invest extensively in developing their craft—learning how to work skillfully with bodies, intimacy, sexuality, embodiment, groups, relationships, and transformative experiences. Yet many professional training programs provide far less preparation for the business, ethical, organizational, and strategic realities of bringing that work into the world.Eros Thrive helps close that gap through courses, workshops, professional development, and custom training created specifically for practitioners and organizations working in unconventional and experiential fields. Learning may address business foundations, practice development, positioning and marketing, ethics and professional boundaries, client experience, program design, organizational capacity, and other challenges that emerge as meaningful work becomes professional practice.Training is designed to move beyond information alone. Participants are encouraged to examine their own practices, make informed decisions, develop usable systems, and translate learning into concrete professional action. Custom programs can also be developed around the particular needs, challenges, and context of an organization, team, training program, or professional community.Your professional education shouldn’t end with learning how to do the work. I’m Andrés Cordero Jr., PhD, and Eros Thrive grew from the intersection of two very different parts of my professional life. For more than three decades, I have worked across business, marketing, organizational leadership, government, nonprofit, education, and community environments. My later academic and professional work in human sexuality, research, embodiment, facilitation, and experiential education brought me into another world—one filled with skilled practitioners doing powerful work that conventional business frameworks often struggle to understand.I began to recognize a persistent disconnect. Practitioners may receive extensive training in how to facilitate transformation, work with bodies, navigate intimacy, teach sexuality, or create deeply experiential spaces—yet receive remarkably little preparation for questions about business strategy, positioning, pricing, marketing, ethics, boundaries, documentation, organizational systems, risk, or sustainable growth.That disconnect is why I created Eros Thrive.My philosophy is simple: unconventional work deserves exceptional professional foundations. I believe practitioners should be able to build businesses and organizations that are strategic without becoming corporate, professional without becoming sterile, ethical without becoming fearful, and sustainable without abandoning the values that drew them to the work in the first place.Eros Thrive brings those worlds together—business and practice, strategy and embodiment, professionalism and authenticity—so the people doing meaningful work have stronger structures to support it.
